Mirjam & Ben
24-26 April, 2026
Villa Medicea di Lilliano
Nestled in the Tuscan hills just south of Florence, we found a place that felt like coming home. Sunlit terraces, peaceful views and centuries of history captured our hearts.
Naturally, Ben has already started collecting many, many facts about this special villa and its famous Medici residents.
It's the perfect place to celebrate our nuptials with those we love.

Here's what we have planned for a weekend of celebration in Tuscany.
Welcome Party
We will be welcoming everyone at La Torre Villas, which is just 500 meters from the main wedding villa. Don't worry, we'll send instructions closer to the day so no one gets lost!
This is a great chance to meet fellow travelers from all over the world, enjoy a drink or two, and maybe grab a slice of pizza with us before the big day.
Dress code is smart casual: look good, but keep it relaxed. No need for black tie, but leave the jandals (or "flip-flops") at home.
The party starts at 6pm and finishes at 9pm, because Mirjam needs her beauty sleep, and Ben needs to brush up on his facts.
Guest Arrival
Guests are welcome to arrive at the villa from 3:00pm. We recommend taking a taxi for convenience, though parking is available on-site if you're driving.
Ceremony
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm on the rooftop terrace overlooking Florence and the surrounding rolling hills, providing a beautiful setting for our vows.
Aperitivo
Following the ceremony, join us for an aperitivo with a variety of spritzes, drinks, and light bites to toast the start of the celebrations.
Dinner
Dinner will begin at 6:00pm, giving everyone a chance to relax, enjoy the food, and soak up the evening atmosphere.
Party
After dinner, the party kicks off at 9:00pm, with drinks, music, and dancing.
Close of Celebrations
The festivities will wind down at 1:00am, marking the end of a truly special day shared with all of you. A taxi steward will be available to help everyone get home safely.
Recovery Day
Back to La Torre Villas for the post-party recovery. Sunday is all about taking it easy, laughing at last night's antics, and maybe regretting one too many drinks.
Weather permitting, there's a pool for the bravest among you. But be warned, it might still be a bit chilly in April.
We'll also be celebrating Koningsnacht (the Dutch party night before Mirjam's favorite day of the year, King's Day). Orange outfits are encouraged if you're feeling it, but absolutely not required. There might even be some Dutch games...
Mostly, this is your chance to swap stories from the night before, enjoy some more spritzes, and soak up the Tuscan sun.
